Not closing this site
I thought about closing this site for a long time because I'm not really using it. But now I can't anymore.
I spend some time going over the pages and the blog entries and... I just can't close the site. There's so much wonder and so many thoughts and ideas of mine that I just kind of dumped and stored
here... I fear they might get lost if I close it down.
So I'll spend some time to go over all the stuff here. It's like a travel back in time! Back when I was so incredibly creative! Sounds like it's been forever since then. I used to draw all kinds of random stuff. Clothes that popped into my head, characters, chibis, animals, do a study once or twice... maybe write a little story or poem here and there. Now I don't do that kind of stuff so often anymore. But I want to get back to it. So maybe, even though not many people know of this place or visit, I'll keep it around just as a kind of archive of my things. And maybe I'll sit down and write some occasional thoughts down, just to put them somewhere.

2018 Update
Hello peoplez!
This website has been down for a couple of months due to some login and website management changes from jimdo. I finally managed to get it working again so here we are!
By now, 2018 is already in full swing and I've made a bunch of decisions with it.
First of all, I'm currently not taking commissions since I want to focus a bit on my own projects like my Silhouette Chronicles and Witch Sovereigns comics.
Also, I've decided to clean up my sites, that means I'm throwing accounts and websites out that I'm not using or that don't bring me any benefit anymore.
This one is kind of on that list too but still has a question mark. In the end, I usually drop all my art stuff on DA but I've been thinking about changing my submits to only posting complete and
finished stuff. Instagram also comes into play. There I get a tiny bit more feedback on things than I get here so the idea was to maybe transition the stuff I usually post here over to there
completely and close this website here down.
Again, it's not a final decision yet. But I think it's easier for me and you guys, if I focus my stuff on as few places as possible so it's easier to keep track.
Other than that, I'm starting a new website for the WITCH Sovereigns comic soon. That's actually what made me think about cleaning up the other websites. That also means that the comic is finally
getting somewhere! Wohoo!!!
So yeah, lots of news and I'll make an announcement should I really decide to close this website down. Don't cry just yet!

Back in Business
Been awefully long since I last updated anything here, sorry for that!
So as the title says, I've been pretty busy and absent for a while but am now back in business. I'm doing commissions again, working on the W.i.t.c.h. sovereign comic... all that stuff.
What's really fun is that I have a new drawing technique that 'I developed over the past year and am now offering as a new option for commissions. So far people seem to like it and so do I. Also
I'm having fun doing "Disney-fy yourself"s so basically getting pictures of people and drawing them into a Disney character.
I'm not doing it as much as I'd like to but I guess word first has to spread and besides who knows how long I'll really enjoy this type of work?
What I'm having trouble with at the moment is finding a new job which is why I'm trying to get more commissions done in the mean time, and deciding on the first cover for my comic. It's a tough
question! After all the cover is the very first impression people will get and it needs to satisfy both newbies and seniors of the W.i.t.c.h. franchise. It's supposed to be familiar and make
people curious at the same time. Geez I've been fussing about that for several weeks now and still haven't found the right solution yet.
But I'll keep working on it and I'm sure I'll get there eventually.
Also I dropped a lot of W.i.t.c.h. stuff in the equivalent folder so be sure to check that out!

Back to the drawing board
Recently a member on Thw Duck Webcomics wrote a piece of music to my comic "Silhouette Chronicles". The whole thing was even featured on their podcast! So awesome!!!
The whole thing motivated me to keep going!
Apart from that I'm still doing commissions and for the first time am offering writing commissions, too. Let's see how that goes.
On the side I'm continuing my work on the WITCH studies and encyclopedia project and also the continuation of the WITCH comics has gotten a little more fire and I'm working on that a lot.
Work life is a pretty mess as of yesterday. I wasn't so very happy with my job in the first place but... the team was nice and it was really the company who I didn't like too much and not the work I was doing for them. Sadly the project I was assigned for is cancelled. Which kind of means I'm fired. Wasn't surprising, I have to admit. I already knew the project wouldn't see production. They offered me a new job which - how they described it to me yesterday - is complete bullsh** but there are still some talks and discussions ahead, concerning that offer so maybe it will turn into something acceptable or even nice. If not I'll have to search all over again. *sigh* "Back to the drawing board", as they say.

Come and support me!
I'm finally joingin the ranks of Patreon Artists!!!
Been meaning to do that for a while.
Now before you start crying: NO I won't stop posting my art here or on Deviantart.
Nothing's going to change there. I'll still be as chaotic and unpredictable as ever haha!
My patreon is solely for my new comic called "Silhouette Chronicles" that I'll be exclusively posting there along with some background info an story and characters and what learnings I as an
artist get out of the whole process of creating this comic. I can tell you it's been very interesting so far!
If you can't support me financially, that's completely fine! Spread the word, leave some comments on the site or help me out with some moral support (I can always use that)!
Hope to see you there!!

Pictures, pictures, pictures
Hey everyone!
Been a while. I hope you all had wonderful Christmas and a happy start in 2017!
For me it was real busy up until New Years since I've been working on several commissions. The picture of CHAOS and WITCH I made for a dear friend of mine for example took two full weeks! I did
nothing else! That was very intense but I managed somehow.
Then I had another commission of Alex from DA which was fun mostly because of the magic effects with the rose petals and stuff.
And then of cause I made this lovely picture above! I've been thinking about making a picture of Will together with her spirit guide which is basically a really really big frog. So I started with that idea and saw a picture of an anime girl walking around, holding a big leaf behind her with both hands to shield some frogs from the sun. And TADA! My inspiration. So I drew Will and I tried hard to stick to the older color scheme of the first comics for once with the darker tigh colors and very purple-ish boots. I also gave it hard shadows because I thought it would support the comical aspect of the picture.
It was super amazing and fun to just draw a picture I felt like drawing, I can tell you. Been working on so many commissions lately I hardly ever get to the projects I feel like myself.
AND OMG! It's friday the 13th!!! OoO *scary music*
Maybe I shouldn't have put this here today? Maybe it's bad luck? I don't know haha!
Now I want to draw a Friday the 13th picture! Maybe I can make it!!! Probably not... *drop* I'm currently planning my korea trip in April and May and have some other stuff on my list as well. But
it would be fun, right?!

Sooo many WITCH ideas!!!
Lately I've been just having so many ideas and motivation for WITCH related stuff!
First I did a lot of crafting and made several versions of the heart of Kandrakar. Left you can see the one that's closest to the typical look the Heart has.
Then there's of cause the whole Wings picture I meant to start working on that I've been babbling about last time and the partner of "Magic Skies" that you can find here starting today.
I'm also working on a sort of super hero adaption for WITCH in form of a poster and decided to draw the OCs of a fellow artist as a WITCH team. But pssst! She doesn't know about that yet!
Aaaand I started working on cards! Damn right. Cards. The things you use for poker or Uno or divination. I've always loved the cards of WITCH. I think I got three sets of cards and while I really love them... there's just so much more I would like to have on them.
Plus I've always wanted to design cards myself so I started working on WITCH cards.
So far I'm working on the backs since there will be different kinds of cards.
Elemental cards, location cards, fraction cards and... well everything else haha! Still have to work out the details. Good thing about cards is: They are rather small and they don't take up that much time AND you can do them one by one. So this will probably be a long-term project and I'll continue working on them bit by bit whenever I feel like it.
I'll upload them here in a new subsection under WITCH and maybe at a later point on DA as well but for now, you guys get the first peak!
I did have tons of other ideas for possible cool pictures and I still do have some commissions (as always) to work on but bear with me. We'll get there eventually.
Plus I need some positiveness. My new job turned out terrible so I'm gonna leave it again soon.

A fascination with wings
Wings can be super fascinating!
If you just look at the WITCH wings there are just so many different versions one can do with them. Since I usually do commissions I only played around with them in sketches and rarely in my
official art. But I really love drawing wings even though it can be really a lot of work.
Crystalwings, fairy wings, heavy feather wings, wings wiht mechanical stuff, wings with ribbons or jewelry.... there are just so many possibilities!
So since I'm doing some redrawings inbetween commissions I've been thinking about doing a kind of redrawing of the three girls Tira, Dawn and Willow. Originally I designed something feathery for
them years back for my friend Cole. However the characters have changed a lot since then so my designs are somewhat outdated. But I still love the clothing and at least for Tira her genereal
design so I scooped them over into my "wanna redraw if time" folder. Aaaand while browsing for some reference pictures to get ideas what and how and so on I suddenly had a ton of ideas!!! Would
be great if I would get to at least do the three of them, maybe even two more. We'll see. I want them to have feather wings but I'll be aiming for very different kinds of feather wings to match
their general design and character I think would fit with them.
So yeah I do take commissions. You can check out the info all the way at the bottom in "Home" or on my Deviantart account.
And under the WITCH section you can check out my latest commissions.
See ya around! I'll get back to drawing!

Goodbye to stress and lazyness!
I'm back! Woho!!
There's been soooo much going on as of late! Let's start a quick review:
I started a new comic project which is going along pretty well; commissions were reduced to 3 (OMG! I'm almost finished!!!) and... well I left my
job as a Game designer.
To be honest I already feel relieved even though it's been only a few days since my last day at work. It was the right decision. Now I have a lot more energy than in the last two years! I can be
creative again and just enjoy life, take a stroll outside or play a game. Yeah! I got time for that now!
Or I do fun pictures like the one above and many others I uploaded.
What comes next?
Not completely sure. I get financial support from the state for a year which is a rather nice sum. But I won't stay idle for so long. I would die of boredom. So the plan is of cause to get back
into the working world. I got a job offer which is pretty nice - for November but I didn't hear from them since last Monday. It's possible they changed their mind.
And if so it's not the end of the world. I'll just find something else.
For now the most important thing for me is to relax. Like, really deeply relax and just do a few things for me.
Once big thing I already accomplished: Clean up the super messy appartment! If I travel as much as the last months I have the bad habbit of throwing my stuff wherever there's room to empty and
refill the luggage. How often was I away? Few days in Denmark, one week in England, 2 weeks in America and one weekend in Milan. Now imagine how all the clothes and papers and whatever you can
find piles up in nice little mountains all over the place. That's how my appartment looked like. Plus a thick layer of dust. Urgh. But that's all over now! Everything's nice and clean again so
yey for my first accomplishment!
Today I'll focus on some world building since I got inspired by a few things to follow up on a story project I had started on some ... well, two years back. And tomorrow I have to do a few
official things. After that... well I want to continue on the comic and maybe again work on the story. Or I'll just play Dragon Age! Depends on my mood because OMG after such a long time I have
the freedom to do whatever I want!!!!

New Perspectives
I haven’t been very active on my websites as of late.
That’s because there’s been a lot of change in my life lately.
My sister’s getting married, my sickness awoke after years and I fought it back to slumber, my computer broke, forcing me to draw traditionally, I finished the project I’ve been working on for the past half year and finally, my contract won’t be extended and have been put in a backwater for the remaining 5 months.
I’ve been thinking a lot about all of this.
It feels like I’m on the edge of a forest. My friends to each side along with my family and before me a beautiful landscape of sunny meadows and hills, blossoming forests, silver rivers and the
wind calling my name.
It’s a new world full of chances.
There’s the lovely old watermill, reliable and up close, and the fairy tree full of wonder that I might finally be able to visit. And somewhere in the far distance up in the mountains lies a
shiny white castle.
I’ve been standing here for a while, looking out, wondering what might be out there, wondering if the weather might change once I take a step; if my friends would follow if I left or if they notice this amazing world at all. I worried about shadows and twisted paths hidden in that world, trying to hinder me, leading me astray.
But today’s the day.
Today I feel like walking!
I don’t know how long my journey will take or where it will end. Maybe at the water mill or the fairy tree, or the castle. Or
maybe somewhere far beyond that.
And should I get lost in another forest, darkness closing in, I hope my friends and family will be there beside me, that we can find our way together through this wondrous world of
chances.
I’m happy. I’m anxious. I don’t know what’s coming.
But I’m walking, step by step, towards my future.

Some Talking
So I've been a little absent on the art front for a while. Mostly because I was moving into a new appartment and it took longer to set up my computer and actually have time to draw; but more
recently because I have some trouble with my eyes. It's kind of annoying but getting better slowly.
On the weekend I could finally get some more commissions done. They are smaller things that don't take that long.
Here you see a sketch from my Mulan. I drew her in flat colors but I think the final version does look nice never the less.
I also made a lineart of Princess Mononoke though I'm not entirely happy with her hair. Anyways!
That means I have... one flat color portrait left, one full body flat color and one full body lineart for some contests I was giving out commissions on and of cause the Frozen Hazard picture. I
decided not to take part in any contests even though I'd love to but I really want to get these pictures done. My digital tablet may look a little shabby by now but it's still functional so who
cares!
And I need to make some pictures for my own contest of cause which is why I'm hoping to get at least the smaller commissions done quickly. Maybe I'll sit down and try finishing the Frozen Hazard
pic first though. Guess I'm just too much of an perfectionist there.

Contest Update
Hey there peoples!
This is just a small update on the art contest on Deviantart, well and some randome stuff. You know me...
So! The current status is: 10 officially entered members + 7 entries. A few other artists communicated their interest towards me so there may be more entries coming.
Due to some rule changes on Deviantart I added a general price for every officially entered member. Each of them will receive 50 points and a participation certificate as thanks for their effort.
Also I was thinking about adding the additional points and prizes the moment an 11th artist joins the contest officially. What do you think? I guess 4 prizes out of 11 contestants would be
alright. And a fifth will be added if... hm... if there are 14 or 15 contestants.
To be honest, at first I didn't think even 3 people would enter the contest, not to mention 10 and I didn't think that each entrant would actually make an entry so I'm really happy how things
turned out. Okay so far there is only one entry that covers the bonus theme but that's alright. It's cool to see so many art works for Irma Taranee and Hay Lin! After all that was the major idea
behind it all!
Apart from that I'm slowly getting along with my commissions. It's a slow process because we're still finalizing the move, have to do some final arrangements so I don't have that much time after
work to draw. Now I won't be able to do much on my birthday either because my sis and parents pretty much told me I have to do something with them. I could scarcely get my granny and uncles to
stay away... sounds mean but I'm really not up for that this year. I've seen my parents really a lot lately and they start doing everything for me if I just mention it. I don't want that! Geez
I'm grown up, I know how to clean and how to call people to get something done! Meow meow!!! Haaaaah... I know they mean well but I really wanted to have my birthday to myself. Instead I'll be
doing stuff for the apartment again, then a friend is in town that I haven't seen in a while and so on...
But I got some cool books on drawing digitally for free from a friend! So I'll be able to make my drawing style a little better maybe. First trial will be Ivan's picture since I really want it to
look stunning! The next things uploaded will however be smaller commissions, since I just want to get them done...
Hm... on Voices of Ilya I'm currently wondering if I should continue in english or write in german and have it translated later on. I can't say if my english is good enough... But I asked some
native speaking relatives to check out a few pages and tell me what they think so after that I'll be able to get back writing.
On the writer's website I have my first client which is really cool!
Highest amount of visitors was 40. That's pretty nice too. considering that I still didn't do everything possible on the advertisement front.
Waaa time is going so fast again! Wanted to do all kinds of pictures but maaan this annoying move and everything related to it blocks me more than I had expected!!

Let's get it started
Hello again!
Still bothered by the entire moving situation sadly. Hopefully I'll be able to celebrate the end of all of it soon! God damn I can't wait! Have to make all kinds of calls, write mails, ask here
and there, tell people this and that, call again, make sure everythings alright and the whole "We're paintnig our apartment" isn't going too smoothly either. Finished one room this Saturday. Just
one bloody room! We have to make the kitchen, the hallway and the big room still.
But there's some great news, too.
1. My sister's coming back from Asia this thursday
2. I opened a new website and a project called "Young-Imagination" to support young
writers. You can check it out here: http://www.enny-wilsbrook.com/
3. I'm going to record a song next week (real recording, yus, so excited!)
4. Came up with a nice ghost short story over the weekend that is almost finished
5. Have an idea for a new artistic picture series that I want to do to get back to the whole
"put feeling into your pictures" and found a website where I'm allowed to sell fanart as
well, so I might bring up some WITCH stuff there on the long run.
But man, I'm missing the drawing! Learned some great new tricks at work for photoshop but my computer's still not set up since I wouldn't have time to draw anyways. Too much going on at the
moment and it's kind of annoying.
Let's hope I can get my work finished fast so I can get the entire week off next week and finally start the contest and continue my work on some commissions, those kind of
things!

I'm back!
I'm back from the Game Developers Conference and it was... okay.
I'd expected to be running around with sparkles in my eyes since it was my first big professional conference. It's pretty expensive too! But it was only okay. There were some very nice and
inspiring talks but also some you couldn't use at all which made me angry since those were the ones that made me wonder who actually selected the talkers.
But enough of that!
I decided to bring out a book for young and unexperienced writers!
Why?
Because I've been asked too many times about the same things and because especially young writers tend to get bullied by professionals in different forums simply
because they're not as well educated on the the topic just yet. So this is my contribution to support our writers!
What?
I came up with the idea just lately when I was answering another one of those typical questions and apparently I do have some unknown approaches so I decided to take
my How To's which you can also see here on the website, structure them and turn them into a book that hopefully will turn into a tool later on for other hobby-writers such as myself. Okay I guess
I'm partially professional by now. Actually I am professional XD Nevermind! There'll be practical check lists, examples and all that stuff in there as well to turn it into an actual
tool-box.
When?
That I can't say. I'm aiming for the end of the year.
It's not that terribly much work to write down the tips (it's not going to be a huge big book, more of a smaller ebook that might be updated every now and then) however since I'm moving and
pretty good at distracting myself I might take longer than originally anticipated. Not sure about the format yet either. That's probbaly going to take most of the time in the end to make
everything look nice and organised.
So yeah that's the news. I want to upload it to an ebook publisher where you can get it on different platforms such as amazon etc. too and it will first be published in english and later I'll
translate and publish it in german as well.
Might not be too interesting for you guys but felt like sharing it with you nontheless. I'll announce some more once it's finished.

Dreams of a child
As a child I desperately wanted to become a well-known and good artist. That, or a private detective like Sherlock Holmes but that's another story. The other kids often marvelled at my early
drawings and with the age of 4 I made my first study of my stuffed kitten. My mom told me back then I was already a true perfectionist and kept on throwing the sketches away because I disliked
them, just to start over again. The other kids then cried out, why I would destroy such a great picture but for me it was simply imperfect.
But why am I telling you all of this??
I've been reflecting on my work lately, what I have achieved, what I haven't achieved and what I want to do with it. Don't worry this is not one of those "I'll completely stop with something
important" kind of talks. I just noticed that I'm not really going anywhere. I came to a degree of perfection when it comes to WITCH. That being said: I managed to get really close to the
original style. Disney in general has become rather easy for me to draw. My coloring still sucks but has gotten a little better. But what is that good for? Sure I like to draw them from time to
time and I'll continue to do that but, now that I've reached that stage... why am I spending time on it? Is it fun? Is it easy work since I'm already so trained in it?
All the other stuff was interesting too...
But WHY am I drawing at all? WHY AM I DOING IT?!
I couldn't answer that question and that surprised me. I'm no longer expressing my emotions through my work for example. I only did that in "Quiet" and kind of for the stuff I did for you guys
and I think you can actually feel that. The birthday picture of Cornelia as an example: The style is almost perfectly Disney-like but the most emotions went into the choice and details fo
clothing. Not the concept, not the location... not the idea of the picture. That's why it's not giving off such a warm or comforting or cheery feeling like some of the other entrants managed to
create in their works.
But if I don't put any emotions into my work, into the ideas of them, isn't something going wrong? It shouldn't be like that... I should feel more happy about it, be more passionate about
them.
So I made one of my amazingly amazing plans for my future as an artist and it goes as follows:
PLANS FOR MY ARTISTIC FUTURE
- Stop donating commissions as prizes for contests!
Yes, they like it, but it's only being appreciated occasionally and I feel like it's more of an excuse than generosity! -
If participating in a contest, choose one you can actually relate to!
NOT for the awesome prizes
NOT because people expect you to
NOT because you're bored!!! -
Finish the damn commissions!
People are relying on you!! Get. Them. Done! -
Only accept few commissions and CLOSE the commission info if the list is full!
If the commission status is not up to date and people only ever hear "Sorry, my schedule is full" it gives off a bad impression! -
Try to get back to creating emotional pieces!
Look for things and inspiration, messages that have a meaning to me to get the emotions back into my works! -
Concentrate on the book for Voices of Ilya, and the Teaser!
(Yes, there's a teaser!) 'cause without it all that lovely merchandise I'm planning on is simply Not. Going. To. Sell! (Pictures to support Website, Teaser, and first merchandise or seek for attention on DA are alright but stay focused!) -
Don't go to patreon until you're truly ready to be paid for Voices of Ilya!
If I go there too early I might feel pressured and/or caged and stop working on the project (worst case)! -
Split Disney and Non-Disney commissions!
People are confused about the two styles they can choose from. They don't get it. Keep it simple! One info sheet for Disney-style commissions and once info sheet for Comic-style commissions. Discounts and other variable information should be only communicated via the journal NOT via updating the picture over and over again!
TADA! That's the plan. Not sure how far this will work out. But in general I want to get back to not just draw, because I can but get back to putting more emotions into the pictures. I managed to
do so here and there but I really want to get back to investing a bit more thought and emotions into the pictures to ensure their quality and my development as an artist. The commissions I have
left for now I'll more or less quickly finish up (with the usual quality standart of cause) except for Ivans commission of cause and after that I want to try and work some more on improving my
art, finding my voice as an artist because I really feel like i've lost it somewhere along the way. It's there if you read my stories or listen to the music but I can't really seem to find it in
most of my art works of the last year.
I want to focus on Voices of Ilya in general a bit more if I can, too. Yes, I've said that once already and as you may know, things like that take time. I'm constantly working on the stories,
getting ideas for pictures and merchandise and all that lovely stuff but I guess I have to stop fooling around and start prioratizing and actually working on it. Once the book is finished, and/or
the teaser I can go public with it via several websites on the internet and try making it more public. Then I can start the merchandising try for some funding via things like patreon etc. and see
what happens. At least I'm starting to get somewhere with the project. After a long break I finally got back to the stories and continued them. I also finally started actually preparing the new
Voices of Ilya Website, the logo is almost finished and I collected great new ideas for pictures. Also a friend of mine (singer) is currently learning the text etc. for my Voi songs so there'll
be more diversity in the pieces along with some other things I've been doing for the project.
So that's really great! Maybe I can combine the emotional part with the next Voi Artwork... We'll see.
Sorry for the long text but it was very important for me to share this with you guys!
Apart from that I'll be at the GDC Europe next week and also moving End of this week and rest of the next so I may not be online very much.
Oh and the contest is still planned so no changes there!
See you around!

The fun of Q&A + moving
This is mostly an update of my changes here on the site.
I changed some stuff in the W.i.t.c.h. section. I won't try to explain it, better look for yourself. Along with those changes, I collected some literature that was lying around and added it
there. There's the old prologue of JROCK, some exzerpts where the gron-up Witch girls are present, the legend of the Sidian Star that I once wrote and some more Q&A that I collected from DA
and the dreamers-website. Browsing through that Q&A was a lot of fun! Would be cool to do some more of it but it only works if people actually want to know something. Funny thing is there's
that one person who keeps on asking questions, which is cool but sometimes turns into work haha XD
Oh and I'll be moving around 1st of August which means I have to prepare everything, start packing up and stuff, so no clue if I'll get to ANYTHING AT ALL!! I really don't know when I'll be
having internet or my computer set up at the new place either. I hope it's going to be soon and maybe I'll take some days off here and there so do some moving and some drawing in one day. It's
kind of unfortunate since I was starting to get really going with the other commissions and the contest entries and editing Voices of Ilya things and stuff but I guess that's just how it goes.
Besides I'm really looking forward to our new appartment. Our current one is so intensely noisy I can never really relax. And in the new quiet and very nature-bound appartment, I might be so
realxed the moment I enter, I can even start drawing after work again!
I still plan on starting my own contest in August, however it might be skooped to somewhere around the end of August instead of beginning of August. And I probably have to drop a contest. It's
kind'a sad but I definately won't make it without messing up my other schedules so... *sniff*!
But yeah, enjoy the new... or partially new stuff and I'll try to deliver some things here and there so you guys don't get bored :D

Contest news (UPDATED!)
Press "Start" to continue!
Just kidding. I've been working on some stuff for the contest and generally on this site. So from now on you'll be able to check for my latest blog entry on the "home" page already. Thought that
might be convinient. Also I'll change my Commission Info layout in the nearer future. It's too loaded with information. I'll probably make it in a book design and seperate the Disney style
commissions from the Comic style commissions. Not sure if it's already semi-realism. Guess not if you take my comic-ish shading into consideration... anyways!
I already created a new category here with the great name "contests" For now it's just for the Witch contest. Depending on how it goes I might change that later on. I really like the style of the
title so that's kind of the font that I will use for the headlines within the journal. I tested the general layout of the Contest journal entry today on DA too and I'm pretty content with it. The
moment the journal is finished (even before it will be officially posted on DA!) I'll post it here as a picture so especially Cole can follow up. Also the entries will be posted in a Gallery here
AND I'll probably post all rewards that are some kind of picture here too.
There's also a comment-section at the bottom which should be mostly used for voting on the different entries and such. For detailed feedback on the contest itself please use mail or comment
somewhere under my blogs. I don't want it to get too filled with comments there. If it should happen it's no big deal, I can always "erase" comments, and just safe the content of it
somewhere.
Hm I think that's about it. Changed a bit on the text, made it a bit shorter and sketched out an idea for a possible visual header. So a picture of Irma, Taranee and Hay Lin that will be kind of
the Headline for the contest.
On DA I checked which artists I'd like to invite to the contest. Might want to do that as well so we can make sure many great people enter!
Soooooo excited!!!
Hope you're excited as well, even though it's still a little while 'till the official announcement and even longer until the actual start. But time usually flies...
--------------------------------------------------------UPDATE------------------------------------------------------
So I just had some time so I created an actual "Start" button just for Cole! Yes you can actually hit it and then see what happens! Okay it's not that special yet XD But it's good to know you can
actually create buttons. I also added a share option for the first time where you can share this blog in whatever otehr website. It's really just a test so you guys don't have to do
anything.
AND! I've uploaded the linearts for the Cornelia's Birthday picture I'm working on for a contest on DA. You can find them in the WITCH gallery down with the linearts. Please state your opinions
about Taranee since I'm not so sure about the hat...
Good thing is: It really seems like my creative block is slowly going away. So that's a good thing. I want to finish the lineart for this picture though to make sure every part of it is definately drawn in the same style! So if that's finished I'll get back to my commission list. Luckily most of them are already almost done or rather fast pictures so I hope I can get though them quickly.

Commissions and Points!!!
Hey there again dearest fellows!!!
The sketch up here was a test actually for the RPG related WITCH project. It looks a lot like me though XD Can't remember who it was originally supposed to be. Anyways! This is just a
sketch.
This is the official announcement that in August I definately want to do that Contest you guys already know about and... dadadadaaaaa! Guess who will be judges and supporters! You're right! Ivan
and Cole, my most cherished and dearest followers and supporters!
So I'm really looking forward to that. And in celebration fo that, I bought myself two new episodes of my favorite audio play. I always have to listen to some kind of blabbering while drawing.
That habit somehow grew on me some years back. It's a lot more entertaining. So I will try to get quite some stuff done this weekend. Some commissions, some stuff for the contest (probably
smaller things).
Alos: OMG I have so many Points on DA and I really don't know what to do with them! That means I didn't know... past tens. 'cause I just started a journal entry and posted it to some commission
groups and OMG I'm actually getting a lot of responses from all kinds of nice and good people! I actually might have to calculate and plan which one of those I want to commission now! Well, I
don't want to spend all of those points you know but I really collected an intense amount through all those big WITCH contests.
Then again, I may not come across that many since I can't attend on that many contest anymore due to time issues and also the competition through other artists has grown over time. There are a
lot of great artists out there doing WITCH art now so it's not that natural for me anymore to win stuff on contests. But that's nice too, you know. Makes it more challenging and itneresting to
participate again and actually investing more effort into the entries. I mean I always try to create something worth while for contests but you know. It's more motivating if the competition is
good.
But dear me! I really have to think about whom to commission now haha! That's so cool I'm really excited!

Latest News
So I’ve been running through my folders again and found some older and newer stuff that I haven’t uploaded yet. There are some
maps I made, outfit sheets, sketches, etc. etc. You can find the list on the right, as always. The latest two commissions are in the gallery.
Apart from that I’m back in a writing mood, finally! So I’ve continued writing the next part for Frozen Hazard, since most other commissions are done and the picture is progressing a little
again. Also I’ll participate in a writing contest soon. It’s quite fun and the story is pretty much written down already, though the contest finished end of October. But well you know me. If I
have an idea once, the writing is the smallest problem. Getting it into a picture is an entirely different thing, sadly. Takes more time there to visualize your ideas. Anyways, I noticed that,
after I’m writing so much in English at the moment like the quests at work or the Voices of Ilya adventures and my blog entries and everything, it feels strange writing in german for once in a
long while. So I guess I’ll spend some time polishing the story until I send it to the contest. For you guys that’s just an info. It’s not really taking away time from any other projects here
since I’m mostly working on it before work in the morning during lunch break.
Something a little related to writing: I’ll be helping out someone with his RPG forum a while which is great! I always love to do that. Luckily this time the person is really well
prepared so I’m mostly giving tips or simply communicating my opinion on things.
And I’m going to work on a pitch for an RPG game every now and then.
Ideas so far:
- 1. Palia Rim
After years in space you and a group of others are send back to earth and surprisingly find the planet striving with life. Get accustomed to the current population, their traditions, learn
languages, adjust yours and their technology and decide what and who to fight for.
- 2. Beyond
Before the fog fell, the most powerful watchmen united their forces to create a barrier and protect your land from the darkness beyond. Centuries later, a watchman goes missing and the barrier is
starting to crumble. The shadows seam to grow darker and for once in your life, you could find out what’s beyond that magical wall, what lies within the fog. Will you help strengthen the wall and
fight the Beyond or venture into the unknown?
- 3. Water of the gods
Long before the time of men, 18 gods created our universe, and time began. They created us and chose priests, the purest and wisest amongst men, to speak in their name. But the priests were not
fighters and so the Elected came to being. They were chosen ones with a legacy of the gods burning within them. They were privileged, loved, hated… After the 18th goddess’ banishment,
the gods seem to vanish while the power of the priests grew. People were driven from their homes to make space for the Elected and soon the hatred flared up like a flame and rose into rebellion.
Become one of the Elected, choose which of the gods you want to follow, discover a magical world with your companion and solve dark mysteries and intrigues. Choose to be part of the rebellion or
fight for your privileges. In this world without gods, anyone can shape the future.
- 4. The name of Destiny
In the old days, so they say, the world was divided into three realms: The Valian Valleys, where the humans lived; the Southern Slopes, home to the magicians; and the Pedrian Heights, realm of
the longlives and beings. But the shifters, had no realm of their own. Restless they travelled from one realm to another but felt no freedom or acceptance in any of the three. Finally they
arrived in the Nil, a dark and forgotten place where they met time itself. In her wisdom, time told the shifters to find the name of destiny and retreated until the day the answer was found. The
tale of the shifters echoed through the world and many of the other realms joined in their venture. Can you find the answer and return time to the world? Do you know the name of
destiny?
I’ll be in Madrid from Firday to Tuesday so I may not respond during that time to any mails or comments here.

Sing-a-ding-ding
Hello, hello dearest of people!
Creativity struck me today and I just wrote two and 1/2 songs!
What that means?
Well that means that I finally have enough songs for a
Voices of Ilya mini album! YEAH!
To check out the songs, go to the Voi section and see which ones are from CC Arlin. For the others I still need to get my fellow singers aboard and/or am missing the instrumental.
I'll have some time today and next week so hopefully I'll be able to present at least a little sneak peak here soon!
